Definately not. A spider plant is not an aquatic plant. It would soon rot and dirty your water. It could make your fish really sick and kill them. The best plant for the tank is a small aquatic plant that you isolate in its own tank for a few days in case there are any aquatic snails in it or it is carrying parasites. Then put it in with your fish with the appropriate lighting.
Can I put a baby Spider Plant in my 10 gallon freshwater aquarium, with 6 Wild Guppies?
No. If you want plants, I'd suggest you to go to a pet store where they carry them. But be careful of the quality of the plants. There are some that are not well taken care of.
Reply:No. Spider plants are not aquatic plants. They won't survive in aquariums, they might also release a toxin that could kill your fish by poisoning the water.
