Is using distilled water better to use for household common plants like a spider plant?

ABSOLUTELY NOT.. Distilled water has no minerals.. nothing and plants need minerals, etc that it gets from water...normal water

Is using distilled water better to use for household common plants like a spider plant?
YES! NO! YES!

Holy Crap there Is an easier solution...

Yes distilled water is better because the chemicals like chlorine %26amp; flouride in our tap water can seriously fry your house plants. If you don't believe it try using tap water on live bamboo %26amp; see what happens, it WILL die.

It is true that there are no minerals in distilled water %26amp; the answer to that is to add a plant food like miracal grow to the water. If per chance you are an organic only type individual there is yet another solution to this problem...

The water that has been used to boil any pasta is a wonderful treat for your plants...the tap water chemicals get boiled out and the cloudy water that is left behind is packed full of all kinds of nutrient for your plant.

Hope this helps you out :O)
Reply:Nope.

Distilled water has no minerals and plants need minerals for growth.
Reply:it is !regular tap water contains chorline(bleach)which isn't good for plants.as long as you use fertilizer,or plant food on ocassion you'll see better results.
