Too much water. The mushroom spores probably came with the soil mix you used. When the temperatures got warmer and the soil remained moist, the mushrooms sprouted. They are not harmful to the plant however they do take nutrients out of the soil, so they compete with the spider plant. You can pull them out but be sure not to leave even a small piece behind or more will sprout.
Why do I have mushrooms growing in the soil of my spider plant?
Your mushrooms are fruiting bodies of a fungus that's probably working on decomposing organic material in the potting soil. No need to do anything. You can knock them over if you like... they may keep coming up until they've finished decomposing whatever it is they're working on. They won't affect the plant in any appreciable way.
