Not spider plants,
Not straberries,
I need to find a descent plant which its offsprings I can give as presents?
If you get a spider plant, it will have babies after it has become pot bound. Just cut them off, pot them up, and they are ready to go
Reply:Aloe Vera works really well for propagating. And it has medicinal use. Makes a great gift.
Reply:Try a piggy back plant. They do need a cool, humid environment, though.
Another thought is cymbidium orchids. They are very easy to grow and to divide.
Reply:You can try ivy. But if you use a rooting hormone, you can successfully grow almost anything. I use it on a lot of my favorite plants. I sent you the link...
Reply:Geraniums are good.
Will propagate from cuttings.
Have lots of varieties %26amp; colours to choose from.
Easily grown without too much difficulty.
Just a bit of water %26amp; they are right.
Flower best in the sun but there are heaps of varities to choose from.
People like them.
Put a big ribbon around the pot to give as a present.
Reply:If you are looking for an outdoor garden plant, I would suggest these two. The coneflower is very hardy and mine often reproduce in my garden. Dahlias are also a good choice you can divide them at the end of the season. They come in many colors and are beautiful.
Heliopsis, a yellow flower in the sunflower family is very, very hardy but not for the part-time gardener. They will grow almost anywhere and so may overtake a garden. Good Luck.
Reply:The Spider Lilly is a great plant for that. It comes as a hanging basket with shoots that look like minature plants. You just pick them off and put them in a potting mix and soon you will have a gift that only takes a couple of weeks to take root.
