Red tiny spider all over my roses.?
most likely the red spider mite (see below) a great pesticide for this is in dust form.not pretty to look at after application, but it works, product name is sevin dust.good luck with your garden.
Reply:I'm not sure about the type of bugs... what they're called or why you have them, but I do know that a product called "sevin" (not sure on the spelling either!)works great. And it works for a variety of pests. It's a dust that you coat your plant with. I had problems with my roses before. I used that stuff and it worked great! The hardware stores, K-mart, Wal-Mart, etc. all carry it. Good luck with your roses!
Reply:I don't really know much about bugs on flowers, but if they are red spider looking ones, they could possibly be aphids.
Reply:You have white flies which are controlled with pyrethiam and mites require a miticide or wash the plants (with a forceful stream of water) to remove the mites, once on the ground they will die.
