If your plant is old enough to have the "spiders" on the ends of the stalks, just cut one off and pot it in new potting soil and keep it watered. They are new little plantlets and should root well very quickly for you. Just keep it moist, you don't have to water it every day. Once or twice a week will be enough.
Reply:Taking the new babies off of the shoots is probably the best way but if your plant does not have shoots with babies you could cut the mother plant in half at the roots and transplant both halves into new pots with fresh potting soil and don't forget to water right away.
