Spiders have eight legs.
Reply:on trees i always used the seven, 2 tablespoons to a gallon of water i think, maybe weaker for edible vegtables.

Wilson's insecticidal soap.
Reply:You could try a mix of chewing tobacco and water in a sprayer. Someone told me to try it on my rabbits foot fern which had some kind of nasty thing eating it and it worked beautifully. I put a hunk of tobacco in a large jar and filled it with water. Let it sit a couple of days til it was brown and disgusting looking. Then removed the tobacco, put the water in a sprayer and sprayed it on the plant. It did not hurt the plant at all. Had to repeat the process several weeks later but haven't seen any bugs since the second application. Course this wasn't an edible plant. But I don't think it would hurt you. Though you might become addicted to the nicotine....
